Family Volunteering
Recently, I spent some time volunteering for a charity organisation together with my family. This really changed my perspective of family volunteering. I used to prefer volunteering as an individual, offering my service to wherever needs me.
Family volunteering creates a double advantage. First of all, you are volunteering your service. Secondly, you are spending quality time with your family. I say quality time because through participating in an activity together, can you then understand each other better and see the strong points of one another.
Many organisations have come to appreciate the benefits of family volunteering. When families volunteer, they would tend to make an arrangement for family members to be in a team. Families make the best team possible.
Try family volunteering today. Look out for charity events and volunteer your family today! It's enriching and memorable.

Contribute to Charity even without $$$
In light of the recent natural disasters in China and Myanmar, there had been many fund-raising events conducted by various organisations. So what can you do if you are a student and can't fork out much money but wish to do your part for charity?
Well, We Care Tuition Agency has done some research and here you go...
- With the rising prices of RICE, you can now donate rice to the needy and learn English at the same time. FreeRice.com will donate 20 grains of rice through the UN World Food Programme (WFP) when you get the meaning of an English word correct. Log on to http://www.freerice.com and improve your vocabulary as well as donate rice today!
- Take up the leadership and organise fund-raising events! Team up with your friends and seek your teachers for advice on how you can work through the school in organising such events. It can be real fun and enriching as you build up your organisational skill while doing your part for the needy.
- Participate in fund-raising activities. You can participate by performing for the audiences, selling tickets for events, volunteering your service by helping out in the running of the show, etc. Every little effort counts.
Now that you know how you can do your part in charity, We Care Tuition Agency hopes that you could also share the information to your friends!
